Welcome to Ohio Genealogy
May 6th, 2010This is going to be a family history and genealogy site where you will be able to find resources and links to resources that you may use to help research your Ohio family genealogy and ancestry. The main centerpiece of this site will be the county pages where there are resources listed for each county that you may find of use.
We’ll also try to highlight the history of Ohio, it’s counties and people. Each county will have a good profile as well with historical information, unique notes, listing of cities and towns and other bits of information. Right now, we are just getting started with the site and the information is very sparse. However, we will be working on this site for a good while.
There are 88 counties in Ohio and this is a large project, so don’t expect that we’ll have the site fleshed out over night. It may take a while to even make our first pass through the county pages to get some basic resource links. By all means, please bookmark us and revisit in the future to see how we’ve filled out.
